Core Development Areas (CDA)

Our work and cooperation with our customers is organized in projects  that are grouped into five different Core Development Areas: Heat Transfer Strip, Casting, Extrusion, Fabrication and Surface Treatment.

Giving full support to the Sapa companies and their business strategies was our main concern in setting up the Core Development Areas. And it is of course also important that the Areas are well balanced with respect to issues like long vs short term, high vs low risk, developing knowledge vs making use of knowledge, technology push vs market pull, etc. 

All this is actually achieved thanks to the very tight co-operation between the R&D “customers” (primarily Sapa Profiles and Sapa Heat Transfer) and the R&D “supplier” (Sapa Technology).
