Torbjörn Sternsjö appointed Business Area President Asia

Torbjörn Sternsjö has been appointed Business Area President Asia for Sapa Profiles. Torbjörn comes most recently from our Heat Transfer business, where he has spent 8 years in China and built up Sapa Heat Transfer in Shanghai. Given the significant challenge in establishing extrusion operations in Asia, Torbjörn’s experience and leadership qualities are critical for success.

Torbjörn is also appointed Chairman of the Board for Sapa Heat Transfer Shanghai. In addition, he will maintain the project leader role for Sapa's expansion project in Asia. He will report directly to Ole Enger, President and CEO of Sapa
