Continued growth in both sales and earnings Net sales rose by 8 percent, despite lower aluminium prices Operating profit increased by 13 percent compared with the corresponding period of 1998, excluding a nonrecurring gain Profit before tax rose to MSEK 134, up slightly more than 6 percent compared with the first quarter of 1998, excluding the nonrecurring gain Expressed in tonnes, deliveries rose by 11 percent, including acquired companies Earnings per share totaled SEK 2.50 (2.30)
